Berries for Boobies was founded by Breast Cancer survivor and owner of The Elderberry Cabin, LLC in Keymar, MD. At The Elderberry Cabin, our mission goes beyond wellness—we are committed to helping raise funds for breast cancer survivors for programs such as the Embrace Program at Lifebridge Health Carroll Hospital Center, supporting women with care, strength, and community.

The Elderberry Cabin
Berries for Boobies was born from The Elderberry Cabin, established in 2019 with a mission rooted in wellness, resilience, and community. As the only licensed business in Carroll County approved to manufacture and sell elderberry syrup, The Elderberry Cabin quickly became a trusted name in supporting families’ health.

But behind the berries is a deeper story—one of survival, strength, and purpose. Elderberries, lovingly nicknamed “Berries for Boobies,” became more than an ingredient—they became a symbol. From that symbol, this nonprofit was created to give back, raising funds to support local breast cancer survivors and ensure no woman walks her journey alone.

A program that focuses on addressing a person’s body, mind and spirit and provides services to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors.
Embrace Wellness: A vibrant and interactive 12 week wellness program after the patient completes their active cancer treatment that includes nutrition, exercise, and various selfcare topics.

Embrace Wellness: A vibrant and interactive 12 week wellness program after the patient completes their active cancer treatment that includes nutrition, exercise, and various selfcare topics. What makes this part of the program especially convenient for our survivors is the virtual component, all educational classes are virtual. The exercise component is through Revital cancer rehabilitation. There are numerous locations throughout Carroll and Baltimore county to accommodate our survivors. The feedback we have received over the years has been extremely positive and the comradery between survivors is amazing. The cost is nominal and is mainly covered un under the Embrace Fund.
